The children have settled in really well and we have had lots of fun! We have been very impressed by their enthusiasm and look forward to teaching them this year.
We have been reminding the children about the five 'Crabtree Rules'.
1. We follow instructions quickly
2. When one person speaks we listen
3. We stay focused
4. We speak and act kindly and honestly
5. We look after everything and everyone

We have also been focusing on being a good friend. A good friend shares, has fun, includes everyone, uses kind words and listens to others' ideas.
We have been thinking about this when we have been playing with our friends.
The learning power characters came to visit us in Year One this week. We talked about each learning powers character and enjoyed a range of activities to demonstrate these.
We introduced our topic of 'Turrets and Tiaras' using the website DKFind out.
