We have had a lovely week in school this week. It was lovely learning even more about the children during our diversity day on Wednesday. We read 'Boys Like Pink' and 'Dress Like a Girl' then discussed all of the amazing things boys and girls can do, not being limited by their gender.
Ask your child if they learnt anything new about their peers during diversity day.
You might like to have a conversation about any gender stereotypes they may already hold (for example, can girls play football? Can boys be ballet dancers?) We discussed this in school and had some interesting discussions.
Have a look on Seesaw to see the lessons we have covered in school this week. If your child has found anything tricky you might like to go over that particular lesson at home with your child.
