This week we
have been thinking about how the ‘Learning Power’ characters can help us be the
best learners we can be. Each day we enjoyed a range of activities practising
these skills. Look at our photos to see how much fun we had. Ask your child to explain
the activities.
On Monday we
thought about Tina Teamwork.
On Tuesday we
thought about Ravi Resourceful and Percy Perseverance.
On Wednesday we thought
about Fabio Focus. First we played Kim's game and then we played a spot the difference game.
After we thought about Healthy Happy Handa and how we can keep our school clean and safe. We also thought about how we can take responsibility for our own learning.
On Friday we thought
about Thelma Thinker.
We showed the
children some unusual objects and they had to guess what they were used for. Here are a
couple of the objects and some of our ideas of what they could be.
It was interesting
to see how the children used their prior experiences to help them think of
ideas.
A light up ball,
a stickle brick ball.
A ring, a
hairband, a bracelet, a spring.
Today Kingfishers have enjoyed a Teddy Bears' Picnic as their ten apple treat. Well done and Woodpeckers are not far behind!
